Taiwanese and Japanese fusion food. The calimari was excellent. The pork belly bao is also very good!

Yummy food, great customer services, and pretty building

We visited when they first opened and we thought they need time to settle in. We visited recently and think they still need some work. Although we have to say their minced pork rice bowl is very authentic and tastes great. It's also reasonable priced. Their stew beef noodles is not so much stew but a broth noodles. The crepe is not really good. All and all you have to know what to order here. I hope they continue to get better to get more clientele in San Ramon.

I recently came back from Asia and I have to say that I loved the food there. So when I got back I wanted to find a place with authentic Asian food. Now that  it is my second time here this month, I can say that this place just gets me back to Asia as whatever I ordered during the past several months, I simply loved it! The last time I’ve been there, I ordered Pork belly crepe and it was pretty darn delicious. It cost me a little over 11$ to get my stomach full and get a drink along with the dinner. What I also like is that they are very fast with food preparation so you don’t have to be afraid that you will be waiting for too long. The food will come before you know it. The staff is friendly and polite and I noticed that there are lot of Asians visiting the joint, they must be feeling like myself - missing Asia and coming here to get back there at least during the amazing supper they serve here.

Bowls are small for the price. Rice bowls were pretty nice. Spicy noodles didn’t come with soup and did not seem too Taiwanese. Overall okay for the price.

Great place to have ramen, a snack or dinner like a tempura or Teriyaki chicken. I can't wait to go there again.

ApRil 8 Cafe was super fun. The staff was friendly and fast. I’ve been searching for Bao (Chinese stuffed buns) in the Bay for a minute and ApRil 8 Cafe kept popping up in my IG. I ordered the beef, spicy pork and chicken bao. I don’t like the preformed buns but the filling was amazing. Check out my pics.

Good place to kill some time and hang out with friends ..I went during off-peak hours.. Great food and good customer service ..Definitely coming back to eat again .

New Asian fusion style Cafe in San Ramon. Nice interior design and quite place for hanging out with friends. Their food is good, friendly stuff. Will be back again.

The service was good, but the food did not impress. We had a pork belly bento, which was a little overcooked (the meat portion of the pork belly was dry). My special beef spicy ramen was good and the egg was cooked perfect, but overall it was not out-of-this-world and I have had better. We also had fried spring rolls (with meat), and it was just too greasy. They should have put the rolls on paper towel to soak up the grease once out of the fryer. Finally, our free (3 count) potstickers were fried too, but the filling was very delicious. Overall, a cute place, but i’m undecided if i want to come back.. maybe to try the other dishes.

All good things come from Noodle Theory!!!! My dude and I loooovveee this place :) it's a small piece of heaven on the corner of college and Claremont in rock ridge! We always pick a outside seat because we bring our dog Major with us every time we go! April 8 Cafe

Tasty food, but the quantity is less for the price. Ordered a spicy beef noodle and crispy chicken egg. The beef was a sprinkling on top of some good spicy noodles. The crepe was pretty good as well, but lacked sauce. Overall, a good choice if you aren't very hungry. Didn't try the drinks this time. Will try when I go during one of the hot afternoon hours.

The pancake fruit is very authentic and the drink is very good! The boss is very kind and greatly praised

Stumbled across this place on our way back from Tahoe. It's a gem. Great gyoza, baos and ramen. Big fan!

Great selection, fast service! Everything was well cooked and taste great. Good for kids too!

A good find in San Ramon

Amazing environment and super welcoming service. The menu was crisp and enchanting. Will surely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Affordable prices and large meals. Great job.
